APMA GRANTS SEAL OF ACCEPTANCE TO ALL ROBEEZ® PRODUCTS
Burnaby, BC – Long-recognized for supporting, healthy natural foot development in young children, all Robeez footwear products now carry the American Podiatric Medical Association’s Seal of Acceptance including Robeez Soft Soles, Robeez Booties, and the soon-to-be launched flex sole collection, Robeez Tredz.
“Putting children in proper footwear at an early age is important to the proper growth and development of their feet,” said Dr. Christian Robertozzi, APMA president. “Robeez Footwear has the right combination of protection and comfort, which infant’s and children’s feet need.”
The APMA’s Seal of Acceptance is granted to products which promote normal foot function. Robeez’ soft, flexible soled footwear support normal foot development by allowing a child’s foot to develop naturally. Stiff shoes inhibit a baby’s growing muscles from strengthening and balancing with the foot and leg. Learning to walk in bare feet is best for a baby’s natural foot development. But often the walking surface is cold, hot, or rough, and sensitive little feet need protection. In these situations, doctors recommend that babies wear soft-soled shoes so they’re protected and can still feel the ground, flex their feet, and grip with their toes.

ROBEEZ DONATION WILL WARM TOES AROUND THE WORLD THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
December 4, 2007 Burnaby, BC – Robeez Footwear announced the results of its third annual “Season of Giving” campaign today. This December, $300,000 worth of Robeez shoes and booties are being donated to babies and toddlers in orphanages and children’s hospitals in Africa, Asia, South America, or Eastern Europe.
The donation fulfills a promise from the company’s “Season of Giving.” For every pair of shoes or booties purchased on Robeez’ websites in North America and Europe during early November 2007, Robeez pledged to match it with a donation to Kids In Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.), a charity committed to helping children in need all over the world.
The sizeable donation has also helped Robeez achieve a big milestone for its charitable Heart & Sole program. This month’s donation brings the total number of shoes and booties donated over the past four years to an impressive 150,000 pairs, a retail value of over $4.2 million.
“Year-round, Robeez Heart & Sole program is an important part of our business,” explains Susan Vann, Robeez’ General Manager. “It reflects the essence our brand: caring. We feel it is vital to give back to the global community as part of this promise.”
About Robeez
Robeez soft-soled leather shoes and booties are a favourite with parents for three reasons: function – parents love these shoes because they slip on and stay on little feet; fashion – dozens of adorable designs; and foot health – medical experts recommend soft-soles for healthy foot development.

ROBEEZ® INTRODUCES MUCH-AWAITED OUTDOOR SHOE: TREDZ
Burnaby, BC – Robeez, the premiere baby shoe brand known for its must-have soft-soled shoes, will launch an innovative collection of flexible-soled outdoor shoes for toddlers, suitably named Tredz. Featuring a flexible, non-slip TPR sole, Tredz provide everything parents love about Robeez Soft Soles – a stay-on elastic ankle, healthy foot design, and adorable and fashionable styles – in the perfect shoe for exploring outdoors.
Merchandised as an “outdoor soft shoe” – a baby shoe hybrid, combining the health benefits of soft-soled shoes with the protection of an outdoor first walker – Robeez Tredz creates a unique new category in the infant footwear market.
“For some time now, our loyal customers have been asking us to create an outdoor Robeez shoe,” explain Robeez’ founder Sandra Wilson. “We were determined to answer the demand, but only once we had created a shoe that met our exacting standards of quality and style while continuing to promote proper foot development.”
Robeez Tredz are podiatrist-approved to ensure the healthiest development for growing feet. “This clearly is an excellent shoe for the normally developing, early walker,” states Dr. Ron Valmassy, D.P.M., with the Center for Sports Medicine at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.

ROBEEZ STEPS WITH THE TRENDS IN SPRING ’08 SOFT SOLES COLLECTION
Burnaby, BC – This spring, Robeez, the little mom-built brand known for its must-have soft-soled leather baby shoes, is taking the season’s hippest trends and reworking almost half its seasonal collection.
Pulling from the ROCK trend that is popular in all age groups, Robeez is introducing edgy designs with rock and roll motifs and metallic details: a flaming Guitar on pastel pink or pastel blue; a low-riding yellow Speedster, or a pink Heart & Wings on silver. Pair with graphic tees and denim for the tiniest punk rocker on the block.
Bright, bold colors and mixed medias make up the SCRAPBOOK trend. True to the highly personal art form that is so popular around the world, Robeez has a wide-range of designs that celebrates the mix and match aspect of the pastime: a dressy polka-dot grosgrain ribbon on Swiss Dot, a 3D bloom on white or denim with Pop Flower, or a multi-layered petals on Scrapbook Flower. Keep this look hand-crafted and bright by pairing with simple silhouettes that allow the visuals to pop.
COUNTRY is in full bloom as Robeez heads west with an embroidered leather and suede Desperado or a bold yellow Sunflower. Coordinate with tiny plaid shirts, or tiered or lace-layered skirts.
Inspired by sailor stripes and pirate treasure, the NAUTICAL theme is strong in spring. Robeez introduces an oversized white Anchor on navy, a patch-eyed Pirate, and spouting blue Whale. Match with nautical graphics and a fun palette of white, navy, red, yellow, royal, and pale blue for a relaxed or traditional look.
No matter the age, the must-have of the season: a MODERN SPORTY sneaker. Robeez introduces Sporty in three colors: brown and orange on taupe, fuchsia and lime on white, and green and lime on white. Dressed up or dressed down, sneakers go with everything – this season and years to come.
Robeez’ Spring/Summer 2008 collection – complete with 29 brand new designs – will be available through retailers worldwide in January 2008, as well as through the website, www.robeez.com.

ROBEEZ® RETURNS TO MATERNAL ROOTS WITH APPOINTMENT OF NEW GM
Burnaby, BC – Robeez, the local mom-built brand turned entrepreneurial success story, will once again be led by a BC mom. Susan Vann has been appointed to the position of General Manager, overseeing Robeez’ Burnaby-based head office and manufacturing facility.
A mom of two, Susan has extensive experience in strategic planning, management, and team building with high growth, entrepreneurial companies. A registered professional engineer, Susan joined Robeez as VP Operations in June 2006 as a consultant from Kymera Management Group, with whom she was a Senior Partner and Founder.

Robeez continues to be a company to watch.”
“Susan was a natural choice for this role,” explains Sandra Wilson, Robeez’ Founder. “Her extensive experience, and history with this company, paired with the way she exemplifies the company culture, are a great asset to Robeez.”

The shoes we make support what moms want: function and fashion.
As another means of supporting moms, Sandra has recently started a blog, aptly named Motherly Advice, in which she uses her experiences to answer questions for new and aspiring mompreneurs. Visit robeezmompreneur.blogspot.com for more information.

MOM-BUILT BRAND HELPS TINY TOES AROUND THE WORLD
Robeez Footwear’s Season of Giving campaign raises over $1 million in new shoes
for children in need
Vancouver, Canada – Robeez Footwear, the little mom-built brand known for its must-have soft-soled leather baby shoes, will donate over $1 million in new shoes and booties to children in need.
The donation of more than 36,000 pairs of Robeez – which would stretch almost six miles if laid heel to toe – fulfills a promise from the company’s “Season of Giving”. For every pair of shoes or booties purchased on Robeez’ websites in North America, Europe, and Australia during November and December 2006, Robeez pledged to match it with a donation to Kids In Distressed Situations, Inc. (K.I.D.S.), a charity committed to helping children in need all over the world.
“This campaign really excited our loyal customers, and many emailed to let us know they were spreading the word to help boost the size of the donation,” says Sandra Wilson, mompreneur and founder of Robeez. “As it gained momentum, we realized the million-dollar mark was achievable and decided that, regardless of the total, we would supplement our donation to exceed $1 million in value.”
To distribute the tens of thousands of pairs of shoes and booties to children in need, Robeez has once again partnered with K.I.D.S., a charity that encourages and facilitates donations of new apparel, shoes, toys, juvenile products, and other items that benefit children and their families who are ill, living in poverty, or the victims of natural disasters.
"We are delighted to work with Robeez again to ensure that children who otherwise would not have the footwear necessary to keep them warm and functional have booties and shoes of their own,” said K.I.D.S. President, Janice Weinman. “On behalf of the agencies and children we serve around the country and world, thank you Robeez for your continued generosity."
Since 2003, Robeez has donated 135,000 pairs of shoes and booties, a donation that would reach over four times the height of Mount Everest if stacked heel to toe. Through its Heart & Sole program of charitable giving, Robeez regularly provides shoes to children in China, Russia, Romania, Ethiopia, and throughout North America.

Robeez® receive rave reviews in hollywood
Burnaby, BC, January 18, 2007 – At an exclusive, invitation-only celebration for the Golden Globes on L.A.’s Avenue of the Stars, Hollywood’s favourite stars received Hollywood’s favourite baby shoes. Celebrity parents, just a few of whom include Carnie Wilson, Angie Harmon, Angela Bassett, and Tia Carrere, were given a sneak peek at Robeez’ hottest new designs for spring 2007.
“I’m sure I keep you guys in business,” declared Ming-Na of FOX’s Vanished upon arriving in the Robeez suite. Ming-Na, a self-declared “greatest fan” of Robeez, loves the unique soft-soled leather shoes so much that she spent at least 20 minutes in the Robeez room, admiring all of the new spring designs previewed at the exclusive event. Her 15-month-old son, Cooper, left with a new pair of cream Puppy shoes, which coordinated perfectly with his brown and cream outfit.
“Everyone we met loved Robeez, and they were thrilled to see the new collection,” stated a very flattered Sandra Wilson, Robeez’ founder. The celebrities were just as impressed to meet the creator of Robeez in person, and a number of star moms even hugged Sandra in gratitude for her creation.
“You love these shoes so much you want to cry when they outgrow them,” exclaimed mom and CSI:NY actress, Melina Kanakaredes. So she was naturally thrilled to learn that Robeez are available in preschool sizes too. She promptly chose the posh new Yorkshire Terrier design in size 3-4 years for her three-year-old daughter, Karina.
So which designs were the stars favourites? Here’s a rundown:
Tia Carrere: The Dancing with the Stars contestant chose a dainty pair of Robeez pink Mary Janes for her 16-month-old daughter, Bianca.
Angela Bassett: True to her own style, Angela chose two classic designs for her twins: for daughter Bronwyn, a pretty pair of Robeez Sunflowers in pastel yellow; and for son Slater, a pair of mischievous Robeez Monkeys in red.
Angie Harmon: It was “pretty in pink” for Angie’s girls, Finley and Avery, for whom she selected Mary Jane and Booties.
Carnie Wilson: Overjoyed to preview Robeez’ new designs for her 20-month-old daughter and long-time Robeez fan, Lola, Carnie said her all-time favourite was Ladybug – and she left with a pair of the new Ladybug design for spring.
These and all of Robeez’ other new Spring 2007 designs will be available in-store and online in February.
